Privacy Policy
Photo processing with Alibaba Wan, 72-hour photo deletion, no model training, privacy requests and data retention.
Last updated: 2026-11-08
Who operates the service
i-love-the-smiths, based in the United States, operates i-love-the-smiths.com and is responsible for the personal information handled by this service. This policy applies to visitors, account holders, video-generation requests and people who contact us. For privacy, unauthorized-photo or account-data requests, email support@i-love-the-smiths.com. You do not need an account to contact us.
Information used by the service
Account services store information needed to sign in, such as your email, name and session records. Email/password and any enabled social sign-in options follow the settings shown on the sign-in page.
Before upload, selected photos are previewed in your browser. After you sign in and confirm permission, your uploaded photos are sent to an AI processing service provider for your video request. Generation tasks store your account ID, settings, credit charge, provider identifiers, status and result metadata. Do not upload photos of people you do not have permission to feature. Photos may reveal a person’s identity and facial appearance. Obtain permission for AI processing and the intended generated depiction, not just permission to possess the photograph. Do not upload identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. Selecting, replacing or removing a photo in the form changes your local selection; it does not recall a file already sent to the processing provider or cancel an existing task.
Alibaba Wan model and third-party processing
The underlying video-generation model family is Alibaba Wan (WAN), developed by Alibaba. The AI processing service uses the two uploaded character photos, the scene prompt, role assignments and other settings required by the selected workflow to generate a new video with Wan. Your photos are processed through an AI service provider, not solely in your browser. The application receives task status and result information to show progress and provide access to available outputs.
Alibaba is the model developer; the workflow service provider is a separate role. Use of Wan does not mean that we submit photos directly to Alibaba or that Alibaba operates this website. Hosting and AI processing may take place outside your country, including outside the United States. Applicable privacy protections may differ between locations. We use information to provide the requested service, maintain accounts and transaction records, handle support and safety concerns, and meet legal obligations. Your uploaded photos are used to provide the requested generation, not to train or fine-tune AI models. This no-training commitment also applies to the processing provider handling your photos. Original uploaded photos are deleted by that provider within 72 hours of upload; the separate retention rules below apply to account, task, billing and safety records.
Content safety, reports and appeals
If you contact us about misuse, copyright, privacy or an appeal, we receive your email address, the information in your message and any task or decision references you provide. Authorized operators may review relevant task records and, where available and necessary, associated inputs or outputs to investigate a concern, enforce the Terms of Service, respond to you or comply with legal obligations. This is a report-based human review process; it is not a claim that every photo or video is screened before generation.
We may share information necessary to investigate or resolve a report with the relevant processing or hosting provider, or with competent authorities where required or permitted by law. Where a response from an affected user is needed, we limit disclosure of the reporter's personal information to what is necessary and lawful. We may retain relevant report and enforcement records for dispute handling, abuse prevention or legal obligations, rather than promising immediate deletion during an investigation.
Do not email CSAM, intimate images, passwords, full payment-card details or identity documents. A task ID, public page URL and a description are normally the starting point; we may request limited additional information if needed. See Contact & Support for reporting instructions and the appeal channel.
Payments and credits
A configured payment provider processes checkout. The application keeps order identifiers, transaction amounts, purchased entitlements and credit records. Payment card details are entered with the payment provider. A payment is not considered complete solely because the browser returns to this website.
Access, retention and deletion
Task history and the application's media routes require the owning account. Workflow providers also process media; account protection does not imply that provider storage is inaccessible by every other means. We use the following retention criteria rather than treating every type of data as having the same lifetime:
- Original uploaded photos: the processing provider deletes original uploaded photos within 72 hours of upload. We do not use them for model training or fine-tuning, and neither does the processing provider. Our task records contain provider file identifiers and generation settings, rather than the photo files themselves. A temporary authorization to reuse an upload expires separately; it does not extend this photo-retention period. For earlier deletion, use the request process below.
- Generated videos: output files are temporarily hosted for up to 72 hours. Each available result shows the provider-supplied expiry; download it before that time. Our media route stops serving expired files. A signed download link may expire sooner than the underlying file; checking the original task can retrieve an available link but does not extend file retention. Copies you download or share are outside our deletion control.
- Account and session data: account information is retained while the account is in use to provide sign-in and account services. On a verified account-deletion request, we delete or anonymize data no longer needed for the purposes described here, subject to legal, billing and security exceptions below. Session validity is limited by its expiry; session expiry is not a promise that all historical records are erased at that moment.
- Task history and credit records: task identifiers, settings, status, result references and credit-use records are retained to provide history, recover incomplete requests and resolve delivery or billing issues. We review them when processing a deletion request and remove or anonymize data that is no longer necessary. Deleting access to media does not automatically erase its accounting or safety records.
- Payments, refunds and disputes: relevant transaction records are kept for accounting, tax, fraud prevention and payment disputes for the period required by applicable law or necessary to resolve an outstanding claim. A deletion request does not require us to erase records that we are legally required to keep.
- Reports, appeals and enforcement records: we retain the minimum relevant information while investigating a concern, handling appeals or disputes, preventing recurring abuse, or satisfying legal preservation duties. We remove or anonymize it when those purposes and obligations no longer apply.
The separate retention periods for account, task, payment and report records do not extend the 72-hour retention period for original uploaded photos. Deletion requests are handled by an operator after appropriate verification. We remove or anonymize eligible records under our control and coordinate with relevant service providers. Billing, dispute and security records may need to be retained for the purposes described above; we explain any applicable legal preservation duties when responding. A request for earlier photo deletion is reviewed manually and does not promise immediate erasure before the scheduled deletion deadline. Copies you have downloaded or shared are outside our deletion control.
Cookies and optional services
Sign-in uses essential session cookies. When a generation completes successfully, we use your account email address to send a completion notification with links to your available results. The email provider processes the recipient address and message for delivery. Notification links do not remove the sign-in requirement for private results. Task status is available in My Videos. Other analytics and support services depend on the site's configured options. No analytics or advertising service is required by this product's default configuration.
Requests
For privacy, access, correction or deletion requests, email support@i-love-the-smiths.com or use the details on the contact page. Use the subject Photo/data deletion request and state whether you want uploaded photos, generated videos, account data or all eligible data deleted. Include your account email and task ID if available, or the approximate upload date if you did not start a task. A person depicted in a photo may request help without an account. Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, identity documents or private photo links. Requests are handled manually, not by a self-service delete button. We may need to verify your relationship to the account or the person shown before acting. We confirm the scope and outcome, and identify any records retained for billing, security or legal obligations; we do not treat a provider deletion request as completed before its outcome is confirmed. Legal preservation duties and unresolved disputes may limit immediate deletion; we will explain applicable limitations when responding.
