Terms of Service
Alibaba Wan video generation, prohibited content, reporting, enforcement and billing rules.
Last updated: 2026-11-08
About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of I Love The Smiths at i-love-the-smiths.com, including photo uploads, AI video generation, accounts and purchases. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. The creation form shows current video-generation availability, output options and credit charges. The Pricing page shows the available one-time video packs and checkout options. Review these details before purchasing credits or submitting a generation.
The service operator is i-love-the-smiths, based in the United States. References to “we,” “us” and “our” mean this operator.
Our contact for customer service, content reports, intellectual-property complaints, privacy requests and appeals is support@i-love-the-smiths.com. You do not need an account to contact us.
Your account and inputs
Keep your account credentials secure. Upload only photos and materials you have permission to use, including permission to feature the people shown. Permission to possess a photo does not necessarily include permission to generate or publish a video of its subject. You are responsible for permissions and lawful use of your inputs and outputs. These rules apply to uploads, generation requests, generated results and use or distribution of results, whether or not a task is paid.
Prohibited content and uses
You must not upload, request, generate or distribute any of the following through the service, or try to bypass these restrictions:
- Sexual or NSFW content. Pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexualized nudity, sexual exploitation, or non-consensual intimate imagery, including AI-generated intimate images or videos. The prohibition applies to real and AI-generated people.
- Graphic violence and serious harm. Graphic gore, torture, mutilation, or content that threatens, encourages, instructs or glorifies serious violence, terrorism, self-harm or harm to others.
- Hate and discriminatory abuse. Content that promotes hatred, dehumanization, discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
- Child sexual abuse or other child-unsafe content. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of anyone under 18 or appearing to be under 18, grooming, or content promoting child abuse, exploitation, trafficking or dangerous acts involving children. This includes fictional, altered and AI-generated depictions; a claim that the content is synthetic is not an exception.
- Unauthorized use of photos, impersonation, harassment or deception. Photos of people without the necessary permission; deceptive impersonation or fabricated endorsements; stalking, bullying, threats, doxxing, fraud, or videos intended to humiliate, exploit or harass someone. Do not present an AI-generated scene as authentic evidence that a real person said or did something.
- Copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property infringement. Unlicensed use of protected photos, footage, music, recordings, artwork, logos or marks, or outputs that infringe another person's rights. A model's ability to produce material does not grant permission to use it. Do not falsely imply an official affiliation or endorsement.
Other unlawful uses and attempts to evade an enforcement decision are also prohibited. Calling material a joke, fan work, private test or AI creation does not exempt it from these rules.
Content review and safety reports
Our service handles prohibited generation and content violations through human assessment of reports and suspected misuse. We may examine the relevant task records and, where available and necessary, associated uploads or generated results, and refuse prohibited generation requests. Acceptance of a request is not a guarantee that the resulting content complies with these Terms. We do not claim that every input or output is reviewed in advance, or that automated filtering detects every violation.
Anyone can report a concern to support@i-love-the-smiths.com, including people who do not have an account. Use the subject Content report and provide a task ID or public page URL, an approximate date, the relevant prohibited category, a brief explanation and a contact address. For unauthorized-photo or impersonation reports, describe your relationship to the person affected. Do not send CSAM, intimate images, identity documents or private download links; describe the issue without redistributing harmful material. See Contact & Support.
An operator assesses the available information, may request limited clarification, and prioritizes credible reports of child exploitation, threats and other serious harm. We may restrict access while reviewing a report. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we explain the action to the affected account holder without exposing a reporter's unnecessary personal information. There is no guaranteed response time; immediate threats should also be reported to the appropriate local emergency service.
Consequences of violating these Terms
Depending on the severity, evidence, recurrence and risk, we may take one or more of these actions:
- Issue a warning, require correction or request evidence of permission.
- Refuse or stop a generation request where technically possible, or restrict generation, downloads or other service features.
- Remove content or disable access to content under our control. This does not guarantee deletion of copies already downloaded or shared elsewhere.
- Suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations. Severe cases, including child exploitation or credible threats, may result in immediate action without a prior warning.
- Preserve relevant records and cooperate with competent authorities when required or permitted by applicable law.
The following examples explain how these measures apply:
- Unauthorized photo: refuse or restrict use of the disputed photo, request evidence of permission, and issue a warning. Access may remain restricted while the concern is reviewed.
- Deceptive impersonation, harassment or infringement: remove or disable access to the material under our control, restrict generation or downloads, and suspend the account where justified. Repeated or deliberate abuse may lead to permanent termination.
- Severe abuse, including child exploitation, non-consensual sexual imagery or credible threats: immediately restrict access and suspend or terminate the account without a prior warning, disable controlled content and make legally required reports.
- Repeated violations or evasion: extend feature restrictions, suspend access, or permanently terminate the account.
Our service is responsible for handling prohibited generation and content violations. After human review, we may refuse prohibited requests, restrict account features, suspend or terminate service access, and remove or disable content under our control. The action taken depends on the violation, available evidence and severity. We preserve applicable rights to payment records, privacy requests, refunds and appeals. Action taken on this website does not erase copies already downloaded or shared elsewhere.
A report alone does not establish a violation. Restrictions are based on the available evidence and risk, and may be lifted or adjusted after review or appeal. We do not impose automatic punitive credit deductions or automatically forfeit paid credits merely because a report was filed. Any charges, credit restoration, refunds or handling of an unused balance follow the billing terms, the circumstances and applicable consumer law. An enforcement decision does not remove mandatory statutory rights.
Appeals and intellectual-property complaints
If you believe a decision is incorrect, email support@i-love-the-smiths.com with the subject Appeal, the account email or task/decision reference, your explanation and any non-sensitive supporting information. You may appeal even if you cannot sign in. An operator will reconsider the decision in light of the information provided; an appeal does not automatically restore access.
For a copyright or trademark complaint, identify the work or mark, the allegedly infringing material and its location or task ID, your contact information, and whether you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner. Explain in good faith why the use is unauthorized and confirm that the information you provide is accurate. We may seek clarification and remove or restrict material while investigating. Do not submit knowingly false reports.
Video-generation model
The underlying video-generation model family for this service is Alibaba Wan (WAN), developed by Alibaba. Our AI processing service provider uses your uploaded photos, the scene prompt and selected task settings to generate a new video with Wan. The model's developer is distinct from this website's operator and the service provider running the workflow; using Wan does not mean that photos are necessarily submitted directly to Alibaba. We do not claim an official affiliation with Alibaba or the model's developers. The interface identifies the available output options. See the Privacy Policy for how inputs and task data are processed.
Generated results
AI outputs can vary in likeness, framing, motion and sound. No exact resemblance or recreation is guaranteed. This project is independent of The Smiths and (500) Days of Summer. It does not provide the original film or soundtrack for download, and access does not grant rights to third-party material.
Video length, completion time, watermark and audio
Each generation produces one 15-second, 720p MP4 without a watermark in the selected aspect ratio. Generation usually takes about 10 minutes. Track generation progress in My Videos.
We send a completion notification to your account email when your video is ready. Preview and download the result from My Videos before its displayed expiry.
Generated videos include audio. Preview the completed video before sharing. Buying a video or receiving an audio track does not grant a license to The Smiths' music, the film's soundtrack or dialogue, other recordings, or another person's voice. You are responsible for the necessary permissions for your intended publication, platform and commercial use; remove or replace audio you are not authorized to use. Do not imply that a person actually spoke the generated words or endorsed a product.
Charges and credit restoration
Each new generation costs 1 credit and produces one 720p MP4 video in the selected aspect ratio: Landscape 16:9, Portrait 9:16 or Square 1:1. The generated scene fills a single frame; portrait output does not repeat the scene above and below. The creation form shows the total credit cost before submission. Checking an existing task or downloading its available result does not consume generation credits. When a generation is confirmed failed, its original credit charge is restored once. An unknown or pending task must be checked before it is treated as failed.
Our video packs are one-time purchases in USD: 1 video for $9.90 (1 credit), 3 videos for $19.90 (3 credits), or 5 videos for $29.90 (5 credits). There is no subscription or automatic renewal. These pack credits have no fixed expiry; generated files have their own availability period. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout. Purchasing a pack does not automatically submit video tasks: you choose and confirm each generation separately. Sign in to purchase a credit pack from the pricing page. Each generation requires sufficient credits and a separate confirmation in the creation form. Your account records the price and credits at the time of purchase.
Refund policy
- Unused credit packs: you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase if the pack is completely unused. None of the credits from that purchase may have been consumed by a generation task. The request must reach our support email within the 7-day period.
- Used or partly used packs: these are generally non-refundable, including their remaining balance, except where applicable law requires a refund or we establish a billing error or failure to deliver the purchased service. Expiry of a hosted result file or a change of mind after using credits does not by itself qualify for a refund.
- Failed generation: when a task is confirmed failed, its generation-credit charge is restored once. This is a credit restoration, not an automatic cash refund. Pending or unknown tasks are investigated before being treated as failed. A completed result that is materially defective, including a delivered length or watermark that does not match the stated service, can be reported with its task ID for review; outcomes are assessed against the service description and applicable law. Style or likeness preferences alone do not automatically qualify a completed task as failed. Restored credits do not automatically reset a purchase’s usage history; support reviews the original charge and restoration together when assessing a refund.
- Duplicate charges, missing credits and unauthorized payments: contact us with the relevant order reference so we can investigate. Verified billing errors and undelivered purchases are corrected or refunded as appropriate. Do not send full card numbers or passwords.
To request a refund, email support@i-love-the-smiths.com with the subject Refund request, your account email, order number, purchase date and reason. We check the payment and credit-usage records, communicate the decision or request necessary information, and issue approved refunds through the original payment method where supported. Refunded purchase credits are revoked to prevent double use. The payment provider or bank determines when the refund appears; no instant-crediting guarantee is made.
Packs do not renew, so there is no subscription to cancel. Mandatory cancellation, withdrawal and refund rights under applicable consumer law take priority over this policy. Content restrictions do not automatically confiscate an unused paid balance or remove those rights.
Files and support
Generated results are retained for up to 72 hours; the expiry shown with each result controls its availability. Download files you need before that time. Original uploaded photos are deleted within 72 hours of upload and are not used for model training; see the Privacy Policy for deletion requests and separate record-retention rules. An expired or deleted file may not be recoverable. A replacement generation requires review and confirmation of a new charge.
For account, order or task questions, email support@i-love-the-smiths.com or use the details on the contact page. Include the relevant task or order ID rather than a private media URL.
